Parking

There are three public car parks and some limited on-street parking in Shaftesbury. The main Bell Street (Co-op) car park is immediately opposite the entrance to the arts centre.

Payment is required at Bell Street and Angel Lane car parks between 8am-6pm Mon-Sat. Outside those hours and Sunday is free. Tickets are interchangeable between both car parks.

Please note Disabled blue badge holders can park free for up to three hours in paid-for public car parks provided they clearly display their blue badge and park in a disabled bay.

Bell Street Car Park (adjacent the Co-op supermarket): 155 spaces including 7 disabled.

Short-stay (56 spaces inc 3 disabled: max 2 hours):  30p for 30 mins, £1.10 for 2 hours
Long-stay (99 spaces inc 4 disabled: max 4 hours):  60p for 1 hour, £1.10 for 2 hours, £2.20 for 4 hours

Angel Lane Car Park (about 5 minutes walk away): 59 spaces including 4 disabled.

Long-stay (max 4 hours):  60p for 1 hour, £1.10 for 2 hours, £2.20 for 4 hours

Bleke Street Car Park (about 10 minutes walk away): 79 spaces including 5 disabled.

Long-stay (max 72 hours):  Free

Additional free parking is available for limited periods in the Tesco supermarket car park (max 3 hours) about 10 mins walk away, and the Longmead Industrial Park (max 72 hours) about 15 mins walk away.
